Shanghai Building Quality Control Station
Shanghai Building Quality Control Station is a building quality control institution solely invested by Shanghai Real Estate Science Research Institute. The Station is the first one to pass the metrological authentication in China, the standing director unit of Shanghai Construction Engineering Industry Association, the deputy director unit of Building Security Accreditation Committee of China Realty Management Association, and a professional institution of residence quality control works recommended by Shanghai Construction Committee.
As the first professional building quality control mechanism that possesses Grade A building quality control qualification in Shanghai, the Station is mainly engaged in the building condition detection, breakdown tendency detection, structure and application function variation detection, antiknock detection, indoor environment detection and energy saving detection for architecture.
The Station is strong in its technical force with a technical team composed of a number of professor-level senior engineers, doctors, masters and senior engineers who have well-knit professional knowledge and rich practical experiences. Meanwhile, the Station possesses professional and advanced equipment, site and non-site checkout complete instrument and experiment facilities, which makes the Station’s checkout and research measures rank the leading roll among the fellow mechanisms in the industry.
Since its foundation, the Station has completed a number of residence detection projects and judicial expertise project entrusted by courts, among them the renowned include Big World entertainment center, East Nanjing Road East-Sea Building, Waitan Cultural Relics Building, and Male apartment, etc. Meanwhile, the Station has completed the general investigation of 61 cultural relics and participated in the investigation of 398 superior historical architecture and 12 scene conservation areas in Shanghai, through which the Station has set up an information document data base about various historical architecture in Shanghai.
In the meantime, the Station also conducts scientific research of high and new detection techniques, including infrared thermal image measurement technique, architecture nondestructive detection technique and architecture space enclosing structure energy-saving measurement technique. Among them the infrared thermal image measurement technique has been widely applied in architecture external wall surface checkout and leakage water detection.
